Childhood & family

Reina lives with her family in the Saitama prefecture, Japan. They have always lived in the same housely. Reina is really proud of her prefecture and thinks of big projects, hoping to becomes one day the Saitama ambassador.

During infant school, Reina started jazz dancing lessons in an extra-curricular club. She was very young but she loved it. One of her senpai showed her a Morning Musume。's dance shot, then Reina looked by herself "Souda! WE'RE ALIVE" (そうだ! We're ALIVE) official music video. Being very young at that time and this song being very dynamic, Reina immediately loved the atmosphere that the group exuded.

During primary school, Reina was very reserved. The only thing she was thinking about was to study well and get good grades. She had somes friends but she preferred to read books lonely. From the third grade class, she was part of the class committee. She succeed to gradually increase in rank to finally become the committee chair.
During this time, Reina saw her younger brother born. They become really close by sharing passions in common, despite their five-year age difference. Her younger brother started an extra-curricular club to play football. Reina went to see him often and togehter, they become two real supporters of the japanese football team Urawa Red Diamonds that they still support today. They offer to each others team goods and watch together their match. Also two of them had strange experiences about paranormal, Reina is convinced that ghosts have lived in their house. According to Reina, they have experienced so many strange phenomena that they lived sometimes as if they were five in their house.

During middle school, Reina started to socialize with other studens. Just before going to middle school, she started another extra-curricular club to study how to play guitar this time. Reina really liked her teacher and considers them as a "fateful encounter". They would have helped Reina develop her sense of humor through their lessons and dynamic learning. Thanks to them, Reina bought a guitar with some money she got from a New Year, but her younger brother broke it three days later. Reina cried a lot and asked to her professor to fix it but they couldn't properly fix all the ropes. After that, Reina quit guitar lessons but she still remembers how to play it.
Reina wanted to be part of another club so she decided to enter into the school brass band to play saxophone. She started with a tenor saxophone but it was too big for her that she choose a alto saxophone. Since their senpai told her it was important to be comfortable with her instrument, Reina named her alto sexophone "Ku~u-chan". The trainings were more difficult that what Reina thought but she wouldn't give up. With her school brass band, they went to two differents national contests and she even saw Takahashi Ai during one of them.
They also gave a few performances and it was at this point that Reina knew that she wanted to become an idol : transmitting a smile to the audience who listened to them. She also saw the famous prank on Morning Musume。'14 members which was broadcasted on japanese television and she thought it looked fun to be a Morning Musume。member. At the end of the middle school last year, Reina submitted her audition for Morning Musume。'16 Shinseiki Audition.

On June 20, 2018, at the end of "Morning Musume。Tanjou 20 Shuunen Kinen Concert Tour 2018 Haru ~We are MORNING MUSUME。~", we learned from the Hello! Project official site that Reina's father passed away three days earlier. Reina learned it at the end of the last "Pharaoh no Haka" representation. A funeral was held earlier during the final concert from 2018 Spring concert tour, in which Reina couldn't go, favoring herself her work. She wrote on her blog that she decided to still continue her idol activities since her father and her family as well always support her since the first day.
