Reina is a real fan of soccer and especially of the team Urawa Red Diamonds. This passion started when her younger brother started to play soccer by himself by joining an extra club. They both started to watch soccer on TV supporting the same team ; Urawa Red Diamonds! They also often offer team goods to each other. Reina was able to stop by the official team merchandise store while traveling on a Morning Musume。tour, and she had brought back a souvenir for her younger brother. They fully share this passion together. Maybe sometimes a little too much ; Reina said that, during one of the Urawa Red Diamonds defeats, she and her brother were so disappointed and angry about it that they yelled in their house and knocked on the living room wall, which had made a hole.
While on a local show from her native hometown in 2020 "Hot wave Saitama", Reina got to talk about the Urawa Red Diamonds. She brought her own wota outfit and told us her favorite player is Takahiro Sekine (number #24). The television show offered to her more goods of her favorite team.
On September 2021, for the opening ceremony of the Champion League, Reina becomes one of the emblematic figures of the supporters of the Urawa Red Diamonds team, being named the official support ambassador for the Urawa Reds Ladies, and chaining the interviews with the teams of the men's and women's team. Thanks to this promotion, she receives tickets to their matches throughout the following year, she will go both on her own and with friends. On May 2022, she invited her brother to one of the matches, together with her mother and Okamura Homare from Morning Musume。'22.
